Perfect low maintenance clip
Includes basic full body shave off (From nose to tail, no style) to 1cm in length, warm hydro-bath using natural shampoo, blow dry, nails clipped and ears cleaned.
*Fee's will be charged for style grooms including teddy bear (teddy bear head is not included in this package) and specific breed style grooms, longer length grooming, matting, extra services, difficult dogs or long hair.

This style cut will bring out the fashionista in your dog! These grooms require a higher skill set (scissoring etc) than a basic groom. Perfect for dogs requiring breed specific grooms, teddy bear style, dogs with skirts, trousers etc.

Our de-shedding treatment gently removes loose hair and undercoat to help reduce shedding around your home. It promotes healthier skin, improves coat condition, and allows them to regulate their body temperature effectively.
We achieve this by giving them a warm bath, working the shampoo and conditioner deep into the coat with a silicone brush multiple times, a high velocity coat blow-out, and lastly using a de-shedding brush to gently glide out any excess hair (which is usually a lot) This service is beneficial for double coated dogs such as huskies, alaskan malamutes, border collies, etc. and it’s also beneficial to short coated dogs who shed a lot like pug’s, beagles, bull Arabs, staffy’s etc.

Our prices are set on a 2-6 week client schedule, (varies depending on breed and your dog’s coat type) we appreciate that some clients aren’t able to commit to a set schedule but our focus is to dedicate our regular clients the time they deserve, therefore creating a calmer environment and a better overall experience for you and your dog.
Me (Leilani) and my small team are dedicated animal lovers who truly care deeply about your dog’s wellbeing and their grooming experience. Therefore this helps our days at the salon run smoothly, as your dog knows what to expect in turn creating a calmer environment in which your dog knows and enjoy!

Dog’s that come in less frequently (over 8 weeks) require significantly more time, care and coat work, often dealing with overgrown coats, matting, longer styling times, re-shaping over grown coats and re-styling those teddy bear faces. This puts added stress on my team and creates stress for your own dog that has an overgrown coat.
An additional note - Shaving double coats is not standard practice in our salon - due to our focus being your dog’s wellbeing. There are exceptions to this depending on age, coat condition and wellbeing. Please call us to discuss if shaving your dogs double coat is your preference and we can talk through the best groom for your dog.
There is a reason behind it too, shaving double coats removes the natural insulation provided by your dogs double coat therefore making it harder to regulate their body temperature. It ruins the coat type, once shaved it will never grow back the same, that’s why we highly recommend regular deshed’s for your double coated breed to help them with coat build up and to be able to regulate their body temperature.

We gently clean your dogs teeth with a tooth brush and doggy toothpaste to reduce plaque build up, fresher breath, and support overall dental health.
Poodle feet $20
ly Nice clean poodle foot, trimming all the hair in between the toes, underneath the paw pad and on top of the foot.
Ear plucking $25
Gently plucking the hairs in your dog’s ears.
Nail clipping $25
This is an individual service. Please note nail clipping is included with all grooming services.
Dremmelling/Filing of the nails - $25 on top of any service.
A gentle, effective way to smooth and shorten your dogs nails for a safer, more comfortable finish than traditional clipping.
Themed photo $5- Includes a beautiful pic of your pup, delivered digitally! No print included.
Blueberryfacial $10 - A facial that promotes intense hydration, leaving the coat nourished and beautifully conditioned.
Deep Ear Clean $10- Using K-9 Miracle Elixer to deep clean the ears. It is proven to be effective in helping to clear up chronic ear problems in dogs.
Matting fee’s - Please note matting fee’s start at $50, depending on the severity of the matting the fee will vary. Please tell us on arrival if your dog has matting and we can give you a price based on the severity.
For severely matted dogs prices will be given upon inspection of the coat.
We recommend having your dog on a grooming schedule so that we can maintain their coat and in between grooms we recommend daily brushing at home. Depending on your dog’s coat type. We are always willing to help with any advice.
SpicyPooch/ Senior dog handling fee -$25
For those dogs that require extra caution or a muzzle while grooming and or an extra sets of hands to help with their groom. Our groomers work to a carefully planned schedule each day, an additional time allocated to a senior & or aggressive dog’s means extra staffing resources to provide the dedicated time your dog needs to get their groom is done safely, usually requiring two groomers to support your senior dog or spicy pooch who maybe doesn’t love grooming. This time is to allow groomers the time they need whilst maintaining safety and comfort to your pooch is our priority. Please note this fee is not based on age alone, it’s based on behaviour & our groomers needing more time allocated to complete your dog’s haircut safely.

Puppy Package
Introducing your puppy to the grooming salon is important to ensure they are comfortable & relaxed while being groomed for the rest of their life…
Getting them used to being groomed before the age of 16 weeks is key to having a happy puppy who enjoys being groomed.
I introduce puppies slowly to the sound of the clippers, the noisy blow dryer, scissors being near their face and body, being on the grooming table, being handled, etc. With time and patience, early exposure to grooming will ensure your puppy will have a wonderful grooming experience right from the start.
Puppy packs are for young puppies under the age of 16 weeks.
The pack includes;
A slicker brush, a comb and 3 grooming appointments used within 6 weeks of making the booking with each visit made up of-
-A warm bath & blow dry
- Full brush out. (We will show you how to correctly brush your puppy too)
-A tidy up which includes face, feet and hygiene areas
- Critical exposure to a busy grooming salon to desensitise your pup to being happily groomed, kisses included.
**Please note this package does not include any length off the body, this should be done over time, building up to a full groom.

How long will my dog be there?

These are rough guides
-3-5 hours for a full groom

- 1-3 hours for a short coated bathWorking with animals is unpredictable, so exact times can be hard to determine. If you need your dog back by a certain time, please let us know when you make your appointment and we will try our best to accommodate. If you are wanting your dog’s groom done asap please add our priority appointment fee on top of their groom.
We will send you a text 30 minutes before we are done & ask you please be ready to pick up your dog
If you see your dog in the window (or more so if your dog see’s you) this usually creates a huge distraction for us as groomers who are hard at work grooming your dog.
So we ask that you don’t arrive earlier than the 30 minutes, as your dog may be still on the table, hold off on coming into the salon, as this is a huge distraction for your dog and the groomer so please be mindful if you are coming in the salon before we have left you a message for pick up. As the groom may not be able to be completed if your dog hears your voice. Please note late pick up fee’s start at $30
What’s your cancellation policy?

As we are a serviced based business we therefore ask you please respect our time. If you can't make your grooming appointment for any reason please let us know as soon as possible.
Cancellation and rescheduling of an appointment, requires 48 hours notice to waive the FULL appointment fee.
In the event of unknown weather predictions, a family emergency or any other uncontrollable circumstance, we have the discretion to waive the fee within the 48 hour period.
We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a groom if we feel the need to do so. Every effort will be made to reschedule at a time convenient for both the client and the groomer.

My dog is anxious/nervous/aggressive

While we are happy to help with your anxious pets, we reserve the right to decline service based on their behavior. Our primary concern is safety, and every effort will be made to complete the groom to the best of our ability. The extent of the groom will depend on what your dog allows the groomer to do safely.
If the groomer determines that it is unsafe for either the dog or the groomer, the session will be terminated. Please note that a behavioural fee may apply.
We ask you to please let us know upfront if you know your dog has any behavioural issues so we can assess them and let you know upfront what we may or may not be able to do with your dog’s grooming needs.
My dog seems to have knots/matting. Can you brush them out?

Here at blooming grooms, your dog’s wellbeing is our number one priority. Matting pulls at your dog’s skin, causing pain and irritation.
Matting can be detected by feeling the dog’s coat; If the coat feels hard/tight, you cannot see their skin through the coat or easily separate the fur by hand, it is likely matted. We will need to examine and feel the coat in person to determine if it can be saved at all.
Brushing matts can cause further pain and irritation to the skin. It is safer and more comfortable for matted dogs to be clipped short. We will not cause any unnecessary pain to any animal by brushing out matts.
Brushing your dog in between grooming appointments daily is a great way to prevent matting.
Coming in for bath and blow dries in between grooms to help maintain their coat condition.
Please note that an additional fee may apply for de-matting services.

Should I brush my dog in between grooming appointments?

Brushing your dog is essential for the maintenance of their coat (especially if they have a long or curly coat).
Brushing is also important to ensure that you do not receive any additional de-matting fees during grooming appointments.
Line brushing is a great technique to use when brushing your dog. This technique ensures that you brush the entirety of the dog’s coat. If you don’t use this technique, it is easy to miss areas as the top of the coat appears to be brushed, but underneath is matted.

What is my dog’s coat type?

There are 8 different coat types, have a look below to see which one you think your dog has!
Smooth: Short, close-fitting hair that can be prone to shedding and skin issues
Coarse: A type of coat
Curly: Thick, soft curls that lie close to the body, requires regular line brushing
Wire: Also known as broken coats, these coats require regular grooming with a slicker brush
Double: A coat with a soft undercoat and a tougher topcoat that can be short or long-haired, regular brushing is necessary
Long: A coat that requires regular brushing or combing, especially during shedding season
Short: A coat that is close to the body and easy to maintain, but sheds a lot
Heavy: A coat that is a combination of long, thick, silky hair and some short, smooth hair
We recommend you brush your dog daily especially to keep their hair knot free & as an added bonus it’s a great way to bond with your pet!
What happens if I am late to pick up my dog?

We understand that sometimes time gets away on you. If you are running late, we have a daycare option (if your dog is suitable)
Additional charges apply for daycare services outside of business hours. (7:30am-5:30pm)
If your dog is picked up after business hours, there will be an additional fee. So please let us know before hand if you know your running late to collect your dog
How often should I book in?

We recommend you reach out and ask us if you are unsure how long to go in between grooms but as a general rule monthly/by-monthly schedule. Depending on your dogs coat type.
We highly recommend you have your dog on a regular grooming schedule to keep their skin & coat looking and feeling their best.
As we are a serviced based business it’s best to schedule your appointments at least a few months in advance as spots fill up fast and you may miss out on the day that suits you best.
